Cancellations and refunds

Understand the conditions, learn how to request, and track every step of your booking.

How to request a cancellation

Open your trip in My Area and consult the booking conditions. The request can also start from the order details, when the option is available. If you cannot access it, talk to the team and provide the booking number, the primary traveler's name, and the service you wish to cancel.

  1. Check the fare, the cancellation deadline, and the services involved.
  2. Indicate which travelers, segments, or accommodations are part of the request.
  3. Review the amounts, any penalties, and conditions presented before confirming.
  4. Track the request and keep the protocol number and confirmation received.

Sending a request does not mean the booking has already been canceled. Consider the cancellation complete when there is confirmation. Do not fail to show up just because you have opened a support ticket.

What changes in each service

Flights

The fare may provide for penalties, fare differences for rescheduling, and specific rules for seats and baggage. Changes made by the company are analyzed on a case-by-case basis and according to applicable legislation.

Hotels

Check the date, time, and time zone of the cancellation limit. Refundable and non-refundable fares have different conditions; early departure and no-shows may also result in charges.

Packages and tours

Flights and hotels may have distinct conditions and deadlines. Identify if you wish to cancel the complete package or just one service. Canceling one item does not automatically cancel the others.

Buses

The carrier, the type of route, and the advance notice influence the conditions. Consult the ticket rules and request an analysis before boarding.

How refunds work

The amount is calculated according to the booking, the services used, the conditions accepted at the time of purchase, and applicable rights. When there are discounts or non-refundable installments, ask for the breakdown before confirmation.

  • Credit Card: after processing, the credit appears according to the card issuer's cycle and procedures.
  • Pix: the refund depends on the confirmation and processing of the original payment; keep an eye on the receipt.
  • RB Miles: the handling of miles follows the operation's rule and should appear on the statement. There is no automatic conversion into cash.
  • Combined payment: each part needs to be identified to avoid duplicate refunds.

The applicable deadline and progress will be informed during support. There is no single deadline for all services and payment methods. This guidance does not limit the rights provided for in legislation.

Rescheduling, unforeseen events, and no-shows

Before canceling, you may check for alternative dates. A rescheduling may involve fare differences and penalties, even when credit is available.

If the supplier changes or cancels the service, keep the notices received and seek support to check for alternatives. In cases of health or other special circumstances, the team will inform you which documents are required via an appropriate channel.

Failing to appear for boarding or check-in may affect the refund and subsequent travel services. Notify as soon as you know that you will not be able to use the booking.
